brand-new Workingman's‘ Series amp! The
Workingman's 8004 T/O/P is a 750-watt, fast-and-furious,
all-solid-state monster that sounds different
than anything SWR has ever offered before. Designed
in conjunction with legendary bassist Francis "Rocco"
Prestia of Tower Of Power, the Workingman's 8004
T/O/P delivers huge, pillowy walls of bass – and
is the perfect complement to the current Workingman's
Tower 8x10 bass speaker enclosure. Features include
a "Shape"
control (a new spin on SWR's famous Aural Enhancer
circuitry), five-band EQ section, 1/4-inch unbalanced
line out, tuner out, side-chain effects loop and
patch point (post-master preamp output and power
amp input) for the most flexible input/output section
on any Workingman's Series unit. |

It's
a gig-ready combo at an affordable price. Discrete
solid state front end, balanced XLR output, tuner
out jack, high and low inputs, aural enhancer,
5-band graphic EQ section, variable limiter with
pull defeat option, effects blend control, a
single open rackspace for mounting an effects
unit, and headphone jack. 2 - 10" speakers
and a LeSon horn are powered by 260W (400W when
extension speaker added). The rear panel has
a side chain effects loop, 3-way tweeter mode
selector, extension speaker output, and speakers
on/off switch. The cabinet is made of 5/8",
7-ply maple or birch plywood with all dado and
rabbet joints glued and nailed. |
