| SA1521
Active Loudspeaker |
 |
The
SA1521 is a truly collaborative effort between Mackie,
EAW Engineering and RCF Precision. It's an honest-to-gosh
technology breakthrough - an active, full-bandwidth
solution with seamlessly integrated power and control,
premium transducers and that wonderfully wide dispersion
that lets everyone in the audience hear the same
thing.
Put
the SA1521 up against the most popular 15"
two-way systems in the world and what happens? You
suddenly discover that the competition is obsolete
- problematic in design, poor in definition and basically
nothing more than a 15" and a 1" playing
separate tunes.
It
doesn't take long to realize that the new SA1521
truly RE-DEFINES 2-way 15-inch speaker systems.The
SA1521 is an Active speaker system that expands the
performance envelope of previous Mackie Active products.
It has better resolution, output and linearity than
the SRM450 and higher output than the SR1530 product.
It also sets a new standard for 15-inch woofer/ 1-inch
compression driver based systems through it's smoothness,
power and mid-band performance. This leads to a compact
product with a broad range of applications that is
powerful and very easy to use. |

| SR1232
Active Loudspeaker |
| The
SA1232 features the same horn assembly as introduced
in the Mackie Designs SR1530 active 3-way speaker.
The horn is a one piece design with 90º x 40º dispersion
that integrates both the mid range and high frequency
sections. This allows for the horn loading of the mid-range
transducer and seamless coupling between the MF and
HF sections. The 6-inch mid-range's basket assembly
is designed as part of the horn assembly and is also
designed to function asan optimized compression chamber,
dramatically simplifying the mid-range assembly. Also,
in three-way designs the mid frequency horn and the
high frequency horn are physically pointing to a different
location in front of the box. The SA1232 features an "Optimized
Wavefront" horn design. Unlike typical mid / high
horns, the high frequency section is positioned to
fire down into the six-inch mid-range's dispersion
pattern. This creates a focused, single wave front
with excellent phase and power response characteristics. |

| SWA
1501 Active Subwoofer |
 |
The
SWA1501 features a sophisticated on board control
system allowing for flexible integration with active
or passive full range or mid/high speaker systems.
The input panel accepts line level input signal and
has LOOP OUT connectors for signal routing to other
devices. It also has HIGH PASS out connectors for
connection to active full range speakers or amplifiers
powering passive full range speakers. All signal
routing is through XLR connectors in L+R stereo or
mono. There is a phase selection switch and a recessed
level control. The system features thermal protection
for the power supply and amplifier module and also
incorporates RMS limiting protection for the amplifier
stage that limits the amount of long term power deliver
to the transducer. The cabinet is constructed using
15mm thick multi-layered birch plywood and finished
in black splatter paint. There are one handle on
each side for efficient loading and transport as
well as a top, female pole mount fixture. |

3000 3-way Active System |
 |
Mackie's
FUSSION 3000 is a high-output, 3-way, medium-throw,
active speaker system. It features high-precision
transducers combined with application-specific amplifier
technology that allows this integrated system to
generate high output levels with very low distortion
characteristics.
FUSSION
3000 transducers include a special, low inductance,
double voice-coil 8-inch, horn-loaded (80°
x 70° ) midrange transducer designed to deliver
the lowest possible distortion even at full power.
It operates between 500Hz and 2,500Hz, eliminating
the placement of a crossover point in the middle
of critical voice frequencies. The result is super-smooth
phase and power response that delivers extraordinary
intelligibility at high output levels.
A
3-inch titanium diaphragm compression driver, mounted
to an 80° x 70° horn with a 1.4-inch exit
throat, reproduces frequencies above 2,500Hz. |

| C300
SR Loudspeaker |
 |
The
C300 (Speakon®) and the C300i (1/4 inch) uses
the same basic transducers as the active SRM450
– with two differences. TheC300/C300i's 1.75-inch
high frequency compression driver uses a composite mylar
diaphragm; the12-inch low frequency transducer incorporates
a 3-inch Inside/Outside temperature- resistant voice
coil. Both of these compensate for the fact that the
speaker system must be able to handle a wide range of
external power inputs (including our mega-powered PPM808S
or PPM808M).
The
C300/C300i uses the same studio-quality horn assembly
with multi-cell aperture horn throat and large
format exponential/conical high-frequency horn
mouth for superb dispersion. This means everyone
in your audience hears clearly... not just the
people in the middle between the speakers. |

|
| S500
SR Loudspeaker |
The
S500 is so efficient that it makes beautiful music
with any of our PPM powered mixers. But when you
team it with the high-wattage models, it really starts
shaking your audience up. Tight bass, smooth midrange,
spine-tingling treble... at shock volumes up to 127dBA.
We're talking loud and accurate.
Like
the C300 and SRM450, the S500 employs a trapezoidal
enclosure that's both strong and resonance damping.
Unlike them, it's built of rugged 16-ply Baltic
Birch with tough end caps made of pressure-injected
structural resin. The perforated steel grille is
coated with a special scuff and weather-resistant
polymer coating. Cast aluminum side handles are
placed at the speaker's center of gravity for easy
carrying and set-up.
Rear
panel inputs include both 1/4" and Neutrik®
Speakon® connectors wired in parallel. Frankly,
the S500 wasn't designed to be the cheapest 15-inch
2-way system on the market. It was designed to be one
of the most accurate and easy on the ears at high output
levels (which costs a bit more).
