The
SR-VLZ PRO Series mixers have six aux sends per channel,
with the flexibility to handle multiple chores at
once. Two of the aux sends are pre-fader, so you
can use them for monitor sends during a live session.
Two other aux sends are post-fader, which you would
want for effects during studio tracking and mixdown.
But get this: the final two aux sends are switchable
to pre- or post-fader! So you can have 4 pre-fader
aux sends, or 4 post-fader aux sends, whenever you
need them.
The
SR32•4 VLZ PRO has 28 XDR-equipped mic/line
channels plus two special line level channels. |

Baby
HUI is an eight-fader MIDI controller that provides
in-depth mixing, automation, and navigational control
for any digital audio workstation that supports the
HUI™ MIDI mapping protocol. Designed as a smaller,
scaled- down version of it's predecessor, Baby HUI
supports all the major features found on the original
HUI - only in a smaller footprint and at a more affordable
price point. Perfect fit for those DAW enthusiasts
on a budget, or space-conscious engineers who have
a very small area to use with a controller.
Baby
HUI has eight channel strips that include a 60
mm touch-sensitive motorized fader, mute button,
solo button, and a Signal LED. Each channel strip
also has a multi-functional rotary encoder that
can be used for pan or send level control, or can
be pushed in (like a button) to provide Channel
Select, Record Arming, or Automation Arming functions.
Baby HUI supports a full automation assignment
section, display buttons, and Undo button and a
Shift Modifier to double up certain controls. Basic
navigational control can be achieved by using the
tape-style transport and the RTZ/END buttons, and
any channel can be accessed with the Bank/ Channel
Select buttons. |

| HDR24/96 |
HDR24/96
is the reliable, all-in-one, digital 24-track production
system offering powerful yet easy to use recording
and editing tools to the serious music production
customer. Hard disk recording lets you track, edit,
cut, paste, delete, overdub, comp, and crossfade
on a project for hours...and then go back to an earlier
version at any time. The creative options are endless
because you are'nt risking anything when you make
major (or minor) changes. With the HDR24/96, you
don't even need a computer to enjoy the benefits
of hard-disk recording, it works with ANY console,
it has a built-in graphical editor, and the media
is inexpensive and removable. |

| MDR24/96 |
 |
The
MDR24/96 is Mackie's price-busting commitment to
non-linear hard disk recording. For the first time
recordist or those replacing aging ADATs, the MDR24/96
is the perfect choice. Ready to go right out of the
box with 24 channels of analog I/O, the MDR24/96's
familiar tape recorder style controls and simple
operation will have folks up and recording in no
time. Low-cost removable recording and backup drives
make saving and storing projects a breeze. Non-linear
recording is non-destructive and uses drive space
more efficiently than linear or "tape-mode" hard
disk recorders. Basic cut, copy, and paste editing
is done using the MDR24/96's front panel controls
right out of the box. With 999 Undos, creativity
comes without a risk. The MDR24/96 is equally as
powerful for pro users. Combined with the HDR24/96
and Remote 48 controller, the MDR24/96 is the perfect
24-track slave at a very low cost. Multi-room studios
can install MDR24/96s in the B and C rooms and edit
those projects on an HDR24/96 in the A room. |

|
| SDR24/96 |
Mackie's
new SDR24/96 is designed to bring professional quality
standalone hard disk recording to the home and project
studio. Media- and remote-compatible with the HDR24/96
Recorder/Editor, it also makes an excellent "slave" unit
for 48-track recording. Unlike some competitive hard
disk recorders in it's price range, the SDR24/96
is a true non-linear design with non-destructive
recording and editing - and multiple levels of undo.
Linear
hard disk recorders work just like a tape: when
you punch in, you've erased the previous take.
The non-linear SDR24/96 lets you record as many
versions of a track or track segment as you want
without destroying the original. During playback,
the recorder recombines the non-linear segments
into a seamless soundstream.
And,
unlike linear-style recorders, the SDR24/96 doesn't
automatically eat up 24 tracks when you're just recording
one or two tracks. Because it efficiently uses only
the space needed for actual audio, you get far more
recording time per gigabyte of hard disk capacity. |

| Remote
48 |
 |
The
Remote 48 remote control is an invaluable tool that
helps eliminate any barriers between the music in
your head and what you put on disc. Not only does
it duplicate the entire front panel of the HDR24/96
Recorder/Editor and MDR24/96 Recorder -- it includes
a host of unique features not found on the front
panel of either unit: a weighted wheel for Jog/Shuttle
transport operations and data entry, Autolocator
with numeric keypad, Current /Locate time display
with visible Cue numbers, System Control, and Record
Ready keys for 48 tracks.
Control
two HDR24/96s, two MDR24/96s, or one of each! The
remote 48 allows you to work more efficiently and
more comfortably - important assets in any studio.
The remote is fully interactive with the HDRs SVGA
graphical user interface and can be used in parallel
with the Remote 24. |
