| C1500
- Digital Piano |
 |
The
elegantly simple design of the C-1500 is
aimed at players who insist on the very best
piano sound and playing action. Sounds carefully
sampled (recorded) from a grand piano are
used with Korg's professional voicing technology
to faithfully reproduce every expressive
nuance of the piano. In addition to a set
of stereo piano sounds that capture the instrument's
full image, a monaural piano sound is also
provided (for increased polyphony) as well
as electric piano, harpsichord, vibraphone,
organ, and string sounds. The weighted-action
keyboard naturally reproduces a feel of an
acoustic piano, and boasts superb playabilit.
A touch control function is adjustable over
three steps, allowing you to choose how the
sound will respond to your playing dynamics.
This is the ideal instrument for those who
simply wish to enjoy playing the piano.
Three
independent pedals are provided for a maximum
of expressive potential-damper, soft, and
sostenuto. When the damper pedal is pressed
while playing a piano sound, a half-pedal
effect is applied to produce a more natural
resonance and spaciousness (sympathetic
vibration).
The
C-1500 offers MIDI IN and OUT so that a sound
module can be linked to add more sounds and
capabilities to your performance, as well
as connecting the C-1500 to your personal
computer for lessons, printing out musical
scores and more. The C-1500's key transpose
function allows you to shift the pitch of
the instrument to easily match the range
of a singer. And two headphone jacks are
provided so that you can practice without
disturbing those around you - ideal for lessons
with a teacher and student. |

| C4500
- Digital Piano |
 |
Two
types of high-grade piano sound, a beautiful
design, and an emphasis on quality from styling
to functionality, all at an affordable price.
Korg's sounds are acclaimed by musicians around
the world, and the C4500 provides two high-quality
piano sounds that use this technology to the
fullest, including a spacious stereo piano. In
addition to piano sounds, you can enjoy the built-in
electric piano, harpsichord, organ, and string
sounds. The C4500 also provides reverb and chorus
for even richer resonance, and a brilliance effect
that lets you adjust the brightness of the sound.
You
can create even more sound possibilities
by playing two instruments simultaneously,
like piano and strings, using the "layer"
function. The result can be lavish ensemble
performances played on a single piano. And
thanks to the C4500's ample 64-voice polyphony,
you'll have notes to spare.
The
C-4500 is crafted with a rich, dark-brown
walnut cabinet and a sophisticated, curvaceous
design. This houses an 88-key full scale
keyboard that utilizes the principles of
a traditional piano's hammer action. It provides
excellent response to rapid passages and
variations in playing dynamics, allowing
richly expressive performance. The key touch
control (light/standard/heavy) allows you
to adjust the way in which the sound responds
to your keyboard playing (touch sensitivity).
Three
separate pedals are provided for damper,
soft, and sostenuto, allowing professional-level
piano performance. A two-track, 14,000 note
sequencer lets you record two parts separately
like a backing track and a melody). This
can be a convenient function to use when
you are practicing or working on a new lesson.

| EC120
- Digital Stereo Sample Piano |
 |
The
EC120 digital piano uses the most modern
digital technology to produce a rich and
natural sound. By digitally recording samples
from the finest acoustic pianos, the EC120
faithfully reproduces an acoustic piano's
complex blend of harmonics, resonance, and
reflected echoes.
To
further enhance and reproduce the full
dynamics of a real piano tone, Korg has
developed a powerful sound reproduction
system that adds deep physical impact to
the piano sound. This amplification and
speaker system has been carefully designed
to work in harmony with the wood finished
cabinet features to ensure that each time
a key is struck, even the subtle nuances
have a natural audible presence.
For
the musician not content with having just
a great piano sound, the EC120 goes further
to widen musical horizons by providing a
selection of other keyboard sounds like organ
and harpsichord. The ambience of all these
sounds can even be refined with the EC120's
digital effects, which include reverb and
chorus. |
