The
Monster Truck of Digital Audio.
When you need a complete recording and storage solution
in one enclosure, the Trip is your answer. This three-space
rack allows you to choose four Glyph storage and recording
devices, tailored to your exact specifications. If you’re
recording,
mixing or editing in any production environment, the
Trip offers the options you need.
Fully
Custom Configurable.
A Glyph Trip can be configured with a huge variety
of options including SCSI and FireWire hard drives
with spindle speeds of 7.2K, 10K and 15K RPM, AIT
tape backup drives and optical drives. SCSI hard
drives can be fixed mount or removable, utilizing
the most industry standard SCSI removable system
available. FireWire hard drives are hot-swappable
with the GT Kit, which uses Glyph’s Integrity™ FireWire
hot-swap system.
What
is Integrity FireWire Hot-swap?
Different from all other “Hot-Swap FireWire” products,
Integrity allows a GT Key FireWire drive to be removed
from the bay, with the disconnect happening at a FireWire
level. FireWire was designed to allow the removal and
insertion of devices, whereas ATA was not. Glyph’s
Integrity™
FireWire hot-swap interface provides greater reliability
than existing hybrid ATA-to-FireWire products.Rugged
and Rock Solid. The Trip uses two high-output power
supplies anddual fans for superior environmental operating
conditions. And with a 24-hour advance replace policy
on hard drives in the first year, Glyph offers options
that go way beyond an off-the-shelf storage system.
