Matrix Natural I & II |

Acoustic
Matrix Natural I
Smaller sized concert/auditorium instruments and
nylon string classical guitars will benefit from
the slight bass boost in the the Natural I preamp.
This version of the Acoustic Matrix can also work
well in larger guitars, especially at low to medium
stage volumes.
Acoustic
Matrix Natural II
The flatter response of the Natural II is a
good match for large "boomy"
guitars such as scalloped-braced dreadnoughts.
Because of its excellent resistance to feedback,
the Natural II is also a good choice for all
guitars that are played at high amplified stage
volumes. |

Earth™ Humbucking Pickup |
 |
This
Rare Earth is for musicians who demand quieter
reproduction than a single coil pickup can offer.
A brilliance switch, located on the underside
of the pickup, is easily accessible through the
soundhole. This switch provides a subtle treble
boost, from 2 kHz to 20 kHz, which is especially
effective for adding a bit of extra sparkle to
fingerstyle playing. Battery life is rated at
300 hours.

| Rare
Earth™ Blend Pickup |
 |
The
Rare Earth Blend pairs our active humbucking
pickup with a high quality, internally mounted
miniature microphone. The system combines the
percussive attack and controlled sustain of
the magnetic pickup with the resonant, ambient
qualities captured by the internal microphone.
These sonic components couple seamlessly to
provide a cohesive, three-dimensional amplified
acoustic guitar tone.
The
microphone is a miniature electret type,
with a hypercardioid response pattern for
high volume, low feedback performance. It
easily adjusts into position with a flexible
gooseneck that is permanently attached to
the pickup housing. Balance between the microphone
and magnetic signals is controlled by a small
rotary pan pot, accessed through the soundhole.
A simple modification to the Rare Earth Blend
allows you to split the microphone and pickup
signals for true stereo blending. Battery
life is rated at 150 hours.

Earth™ Custom Blend |
 |
We
have carefully fashioned our premier soundhole
pickup for the acoustic guitarist whose ear
for fine tone is rivaled only by his/her eye
for fine objects.
Unique to the Rare Earth Custom Blend is its removable
microphone and two convenient mounts for internal
or external positioning. Choose between the open,
airy quality of an outside mic or the deep resonance
that is heard only from inside a guitar.
A
precision-milled ebony top and machined miniature
gold plated connectors lend an understated
elegance to this exceptional pickup. Find
the perfect balance between the pickup and
microphone with a small, rotary pan pot that
you access through the soundhole. For true
stereo blending, you can split microphone
and pickup signals with a simple modification
to the supplied jack. Battery life is rated
