The exclusive voice
"characters" transform your voice
from the scariest of monsters to spacey alien
beings. The Vocal 300 comes with 38 fully programmable
studio quality effects (up to 7 effects at
once). The built-in expression pedal can be
assigned to control your choice of up to 3
parameters in real-time. Each effect includes
up to 4 adjustable parameters, giving you total
flexibility to create the sound you want. The
6 character alphanumeric and 2 character numeric
displays, combined with the 4-knob matrix editing
system, provide a simple straightforward user
interface.
The
Vocal 300 also includes 40 great sounding
Factory Presets and 40 User Presets for
your own custom creations. The rear panel
features a 1/8" CD input for singing
along with your favorite music, a 1/4" unbalanced
input, a balanced XLR input, a balanced
XLR mono output, a 1/4" TRS stereo
line output and a 1/8" headphone

The
optional DigiTech FS-300 footswitch lets
you bypass harmony, switch from the A&B
sections, lets you turn the reverb on and
off and mutes individual voices as you
play or sing.
For
you home studio enthusiasts, Performer
also has a line input so you can create
perfect natural sounding harmonies for
your demos. Create harmony "live" in
real time or use Performer to add up to
two more vocals to a previously recorded
track using the line input. No more 4 track
quality loss that comes from bouncing down
the music to one track in order to free
up fresh tracks for vocals.

studio. The Vocalist Workstation EX is
able to rise to the challenge by giving
you great vocals in both environments.
The Vocalist Workstation EX contains a
suite of effects designed to make your
vocals outstanding as well. It has never
been easier to add great sounding 2-5 part
harmonies to live or pre-recorded vocals.
The
high quality Reverb is easy to use and
you can edit and store different reverb
settings for each program. You can also
fix that one out-of-tune note in an otherwise
great vocal recording by using the automatic
or manual "Pitch Correction"
mode. Adjustable gender and humanization
for harmony voices make them sound like
other singers.
When
you add a MIDI keyboard, it can create
harmonies automatically using its chord
recognition intelligence. Full MIDI Sysex
implementation also allows the EX to move
into the studio to run under full automation
with your favorite sequencing and digital
recording programs.
