If
you've spent any time at all in professional audio,
you know the name Crown and what it stands for—incredible
performance and sound, the ultimate in reliability
under harsh conditions and the best support in
the business. These are just a few of the reasons
why the world's biggest tours and most prestigious
installations have Crown amps in their racks. And
now, with the introduction of the new CE Series,
Crown is bringing what sets thier professional

K
Series amplifiers deliver more power and sound
while using less energy than conventional amplifiers.
And it’s all in a durable, maintenance-free
package that’s just two rack spaces high.
Using
patented Balanced Current Amplifier (BCA®)
circuitry, K Series amplifiers give you massive
amounts of power while generating just one-tenth
the heat of conventional amplifiers. In fact,
the powerful K2 amplifier can deliver an amazing
1,250 watts per channel into 2 ohms (and that’s
a very solid 2 ohms)!

It’s
hard to please every crowd. But you’ll have
a better chance when you use a Crown Power-Tech
.1 Series amplifier. Musicians and DJs alike demand
a lot from their systems
—clean, punchy sound; reliability; ruggedness;
smaller size; less weight—all at a reasonable
price. And Crown PT .1s bring these benefits and much
more to the table.

Of
the Com-Tech® Series, Crown's CTs Series offers
new flexibility and value for installed sound applications.
The Com-Tech Series were the first to offer independent
selection of high- and low-impedance operation
for a specific channel, and CTs Series amplifiers
continue that tradition, with power levels and
features carefully chosen to perfectly integrate
into fixed install design requirements. |

|
|
|
The
D-45 and D-75A are the latest D Series amplifiers
and are perfect for moderate power applications
such as recording or broadcast studio near-field
monitoring, video suite audio monitoring, a recording/broadcast
headphone amp or a small paging system. Crown's
AB+B circuitry ensures efficient use of output
transistors while incorporating protection against
shorted, open, mismatched or low-impedance loads.
Designed,
built and carefully checked to ensure reliable
operation with a wide variety of loads, Crown
D Series amplifiers are convection cooled. Their
high reliability is particularly important in
reducing maintenance costs. |

CH
SERIES DRIVES MULTIPLE IMPEDANCES
CH Series provides for both low impedance
or high impedance outputs per channel.
Each channel offers 4/8 ohm, 70V and100V operation
on CH1 and CH2, and 4/8 ohm and 70V on CH4.
Loads can be mismatched, allowing for independent
operation per channel.
CH SERIES INCLUDES
HPF PER CHANNEL
All CH Series include a 70 Hz High Pass Filter
per channel, providing necessary low frequency roll
off to eliminate saturation of constant voltage step
down transformers typically used in 70V and 100V
distributed systems.
SHALLOW CHASSIS
DESIGN
The CH 1, CH 2, and CL 1, and CL 2 use shallow
chassis, allowing for installation in most
wall-mount equipment racks.
SECURITY
Rear panel level controls for secure operation.
Precision detented level controls allow for
accurate level settings in many fixed installation
applications.

Crown
delivers three models (CH1, CH2 and CH4) designed
for both low and high impedance outputs per channel.
With the CH1 and CH2, each channel is independently
capable of 4/8 ohm, 70V or 100V operation. Each
channel of the CH4 is independently capable of
4/8 ohm or 70V operation.
Three
additional models (CL1, CL2 and CL4) offer low
impedance compatibility for applications where
high power, low impedance loads are the primary
requirement. The CL Series models provide 2,
4 and 8 ohm options per channel. The powerful
and flexible CH Series amplifiers also include
70 Hz High Pass Filters on each channel, giving
your customers the necessary low-frequency roll-off
to eliminate saturation of constant-voltage step
down transformers typically used in 70Vand 100V
distributed systems. |

The
Crown Macro-Tech 02 Series amps are enchanced versions
of the Macro-Tech line. They offer the same features
and performance of the original Macro-Techs while
delivering key added benefits that continue to
expand the versatility of this distinct product
line. Here are a few examples:
- Enhanced
PIP2(TM) (Programmable
Input Processor) connector accepts new
accessory modules that tailor the amplifier
for specific applications.
- Balanced
XLR and 1/4-inch phone jacks for
each channel on the standard PIP-FXQ module..
- Full
Protection from shorted, open
and mismatched loads, general over-heating,
DC, high-frequency overloads, and full
internal fault protection are provided
by our latest protection scheme: "Quad-Mute."

Unique
Macro-Tech 24x6 and 36x12 provide practical solutions
to biamplified system applications such as stage
monitors. Each amp features a high- and medium-power
channel in a single, low-profile unit. Both amps
have separate power supplies which allow each channel
to be treated as its own amplifier. Providing tremendous
power to your bass cabinets, channel 1 of the Macro-Tech
24x6 has the same power and specifications as our
Macro-Tech 2402, while the Macro-Tech 36x12 has
the same power as our Macro-Tech 3600VZ. Channel
2 of each amp drives horns and other high-frequency
transducers with the power of the Macro-Tech 602
and 1202 respectively. |

Crown's
first touring workhorse, the Micro-Tech Series,
delivers industry standard performance and reliability.
Able
to drive low-impedance loads with ease, Micro-Tech
amplifiers feature three separate power supplies
for exceptional reliability and impressive power
ratings. Our patented ODEP circuitry keeps the
amplifier working long after others would quit.
Grounded bridge circuitry doubles the available
voltage without placing output transistors in
stressful configurations like other more conventional
amplifiers. The unique forced-air cooling system
makes certain heat is dissipated quickly and
evenly. As a result, you get maximum performance
without the threat of damage to the amplifier
or other system components. |

Engineered
for the critical demands of recording studios,
the Studio Reference Series amplifiers are more
than a new benchmark for precision amplifiers.
They're an investment in long-term performance
that anticipates and achieves the next step in
professional audio demanded by studios and serious
audiophiles.
Featuring
an extremely wide dynamic range capable of accurately
reproducing digital recordings, combined with
super low harmonic and intermodulation distortion,
these amps provide the best transfer function
in the business. They also feature a damping
factor of better than 20,000 for absolute speaker
control with a tight, well-defined low end.
Sonic
accuracy is just one of the advantages of the Studio
Reference. Patented ODEP circuits detect and compensate
for any demanding load condition, while PIP expansion
permits easy customization with add-on electronics. |
