The use of a high-power 24-bit DSP with two separate "engines"enables you to process entirely different effects for the left and right channels. Within fractions of a second, the FEEDBACK DESTROYER PRO's ingenious search algorithm locates feedback frequencies and sets extremely narrow, 1/60-octave filters, leaving the desired signal virtually untouched. The result: a rich, full sound without feedback. And without headaches.

The DSP1100P offers two methods of feedback suppression. In the "Single-Shot" mode, the filters are set once and remain active at their respective frequencies until manually reset. This mode is best used for equalizing PA systems and for stationary microphones. In the "Auto" mode, current feedback frequencies are assigned to up to 12 filters, which are automatically re-assigned when necessary. This is the best way to handle mic’s in motion. In both modes, the DSP1100P continuously monitors the mix, varying the filter bandwidth and/or attenuation as necessary.

Ultra-Linear Sample Rate/Format Converter and Jitter Remover

Do you use digital audio equipment? Does your studio require communication between DAT recorder, sampler and computer via digital interfaces? Do you often lose audio quality through frequent copying and additional A/D and D/A conversion? More and more audio signal processing occurs in the digital domain. This means that you frequently have to deal with various interfaces, digital standards and so on. And most likely you've discovered that compatibility doesn't necessarily mean that all your gear will harmonize perfectly.

Various operational modes for flexible application
You can choose between 44.1 and 32 kHz output sample rates, activate or de-active the emphasis function or synchronize the device to an external clock. Several status LED’s keep you well informed about current input and output signals.

The digital patch bay
The ULTRAMATCH enables problem-free communication between DAT recorders, samplers, hard disk recording systems, CD players and consoles with standard stereo digital interfaces. Three switchable inputs and three parallel outputs (AES/EBU as XLR and S/PDIF as RCA and optical) are available. Selecting an input with the front-panel switches routes the signal to all three outputs. This allows you, for example, to simultaneously make three digital copies from one master. In addition, the ULTRAMATCH can be externally synchronized via the BNC word clock input.
